Privacy Policy

1. Scope and operator

This policy describes the Worthara website at wortharalab.com and its calculators, including the Loan Payoff Calculator accessed through Pi Browser. Worthara is operated by Steven Archambault. Pi Network and other third-party services have their own privacy policies.

2. Calculator information

You can use our current calculators without creating an account. Amounts, interest rates, repayment assumptions, and other financial values you enter are processed in your browser to produce estimates. The current calculator code does not send these values to a Worthara database or include them in share links. We do not ask for bank account numbers, Social Security numbers, wallet passphrases, or private keys. Avoid entering identifying information in calculator fields.

3. Technical information and analytics

Our hosting provider, Netlify, may process technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps, browser information, and security logs to deliver and protect the website. The website may use Google Analytics to understand visits and interactions, including page views, referral sources, device and browser information, approximate geographic information, and sharing actions. Where enabled, Google Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers. We do not intentionally send calculator balances or other financial inputs as analytics events.

4. Information you choose to share

If you contact us, we receive the contact details and message you provide and use them to respond. If you share or download a result, review it first: the result text or image may reveal a projected goal or date. The messaging app or service you choose handles the shared information under its own policies. Current share links do not include the financial inputs used to calculate your result.

5. Purposes and disclosures

Information is used to operate the website, understand usage, respond to requests, troubleshoot problems, and protect against misuse. Hosting, analytics, and communications providers may process information for those purposes. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights or security. We do not sell your calculator inputs.

6. Pi Network

The current Worthara calculator does not authenticate users through the Pi SDK, request Pi account data, or accept Pi payments. Using Pi Browser may involve information processing by Pi Network independently of Worthara. If we introduce Pi authentication or payments, we will update this policy to describe the information requested and its use before those features begin collecting data.

7. Retention and security

The current calculator has no Worthara account history or server-side storage of your financial entries. Hosting and analytics data are retained according to the providers' settings and policies. Messages may be retained to answer requests and maintain relevant records. We use HTTPS to protect information in transit; no online service can guarantee complete security. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries.

8. Your choices and requests

You can control or delete cookies through your browser. Google offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. The website currently does not change its behavior in response to the browser's Do Not Track signal. Analytics providers may process activity across sites where their services are enabled. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you provided directly to us; we will respond as required by applicable law. We cannot retrieve calculator entries that remain solely in your browser.

9. Children

The website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us.

10. Changes and contact

We will post revisions here and update the date above. Material changes will be identified on this page or through an appropriate website notice.
